Women Developers of the Future

• The aim of the “Women Developers of the Future” project, which we have implemented in cooperation with TOBB, TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board and Turkcell, is to educate women regarding software, to support them in developing mobile applications, and to increase the employment capacity and entrepreneurship of women in these areas. The target group of our project is women over the age of 18 who are high school graduates, college students or graduates, who want to work in the mobile technology industry or wish to implement their business idea using mobile technologies. Women develop their skills in mobile software by training offered both in the classroom and online, while gaining entrepreneurial competence with the support of mentoring, thus gaining the opportunity to take a big step towards implementing their own products and initiatives.  As a result of a selection among women receiving training, 100 participants will be employed as test experts at Turkcell in order to conduct end-user tests.
• In the first year of the project, 1359 women applied, while in the second year, 1510 applications were received.
